IMPORTANT AUGUST ELECTION
Our vote is our voice for better jobs and better care. We are working in a changing healthcare landscape. In order to provide quality, affordable, accessible healthcare and mental health services for all, we need healthcare champions—who value healthcare workers and our patients—standing alongside us in elected office. This year we have key city, county, hospital board, and a few special legislative elections. We need to win these races in order to move forward with our safe staffing, mental health funding, and other healthcare priorities.
Members across the state have interviewed and recommended candidates for the key August primary election races.
And if your city doesn’t yet have a recommended candidate, contact your delegate or organizer to help start the conversation with your elected officials and candidates.
Make sure to return your ballot no later than August 6th. Remember: we are now an all-mail ballot state!
