Yesterday, healthcare workers and our community honored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by standing up against corporate greed and fighting for our rights as workers at our informational picket at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
With the support of our friends, families, union allies, community leaders, elected officials, and more, our call for a strong contract with fair wages, safe staffing, and great benefits came through loud and clear! Quality patient care is on the line until MultiCare steps up to the plate and agrees to a contract that will recruit and retain us. Our current staffing crisis isn’t sustainable – and what’s good for healthcare workers is good for our patients and community.
